So Idid this fun little morning treat and activity again this year.
I just love these tags from my favorite blog eighteen25.

Speaking of St. Patty’s Day, we had a blast this week.
Besides I just love this holiday and I’m not even a little Irish.
That silly leprechaun came and tore apart our room.
It always gives me a slight heart attack, since I’m super particular about my classroom.
But I do cherish my kiddos reactions. We of course went on a hunt to find him. He finally brought back our pot of gold Rolos and Twix, and all was right with the world again.
Stinker left his footprints everywhere!!
In addition we also made our Leprechaun punch. You can get the recipe and writing activity in Deanna’s pack.

Centers.
So I have a lot of people ask how I run centers in my room.
Believe me, this girl has done it all in her 12 years, but I’ve learned to keep it simple.
It’s easier on yourself and your kiddos.
Plus my kids get a center checklist every week. They know they are expected to complete at least 4 centers during the week and if time permits complete all 6. They keep their recording sheets, mini-books, and other work in a folder. I collect it all with their checklist on Thursday. Students who do well get their work on the “Wall of Wow!” along with a little treat on Friday. Furthermore my center time runs so smoothly.
One of my favorite times of the day! Besides it keeps everything fun for the kiddos!
