I have to admit that before I had kiddos two weeks of Christmas vacation really felt too long. I would be in my room working after week one and itching for school to start back. Fast forward to kiddos and the fact that we did not get two full weeks this year and I’m seriously sad. Don’t get me wrong…I love my job, but my boys are off until the 7th and I really wish I was too. Instead, my alarm clock is set, clothes are ironed and today I was doing this:
Here’s a math/writing activity we’ll be doing soon. Guess who will be hogging the copier tomorrow?
Math Center for next week laminated and cut.
Winter words for the writing table cut and ready for a binder ring.
New Year’s centers courtesy of my friend Cara for the next few days.
Chart colored for vocabulary work we’ll be doing this quarter.
Another chart for some parts of speech work we’ll be doing next week.
So ready or not…back to work I go.
Also…don’t forget everything in my store is 20% off until midnight.
Here are some of the items I’ll be using in the near future:
Happy Teaching Friends!

Just wanted to say that I love your blog! I wish I would have seen these a little earlier today (TPT gift card spending). They will be on my wishlist to remember for later. Thanks for being such an inspiration!

I know what you mean about your perspective changing once you have kids. I'm fortunate that my daughter and I are on the same schedule. Looks like you have been working much harder than I have this break. Looks great!

We went back today, too. But, my kids did also, so it wasn't so in-your-face painful.

I agree my teaching and thoughts changed once I had children . I too am having a hard time with the thought of going back , mainly because I can't wear my PJs š my mom likes to keep me grounded by reminding me most people go to work the day after Christmas . Thanks mom !!'
