Say it isn’t so…

Oh Teacher Friends! My Oh My! Say it isn’t so.  Is Thanksgiving break seriously over?  I feel pretty accomplished after these 5 marvelous days, but I could use another 5 or 6 or 7.  I hope you all had some fun time off.  I started my break with some serious sale strategizing.  This wackdoo stood in line at Toys R Us with a bunch of other crazies for 2 hours! Who does that?  Insanity I tell you. So I went to bed about 1 am and was back up and shopping at 6.  Santa’s Tahoe was seriously overflowing, but this girl is just about done with Christmas shopping.  We also decked the halls and made Christmas treats.  We saw Santa and I uploaded a few items to TpT. So not too shabby. Now I just need to get my act together for 15 more days.  We’ll be traveling around the world learning about holiday celebrations.  So fun!
{Don’t be jealous of our reindeer cake pops.
They were a serious fail! But the rest of our treats turned out delish!}

We also got a visit from our friend Tiny, our Elf on the Shelf.  Aka: The miracle.  If you have a 4 year old that doesn’t always listen and follow directions, then you must rush out and get one immediately.  At the tiniest misbehavior you mention his name and poof, the angel child reappears. No lie! I’m about to run out and get one for my classroom.  Especially for week 3, right before break.  We all know, no matter how much we love our sweet kiddos, that the week before break makes kids go KUH-RAZY with a capital K!

Anyway…It’s back to the grind. I’m going to try to be back with some holiday freebies soon. But until then, don’t forget to shop til you drop tonight at 12…or tomorrow, when myself and tons of other teacher sellers are throwing a humongo sale! You can get everything in my store for 30% off.  I just uploaded a ginormous center pack for the holidays and more. So check it out!

Good luck tomorrow friends! Get that glitter and glue and hold on for dear life!

  1. Our Elf, Gary, came out today! Mine are 15, 10, and 7. The 7 year old has always had the elf, so he is on the straight and narrow when Gary arrives (he comes the night we decorate the tree).
    The other two- not so much- but if they know what's good for them, they will believe in Gary for a long time to come!

  2. I have an Elf on the Shelf for both my house and my classroom. Smerkle the Elf made his yearly appearance and OH MY WORD!! Love it!! It's crazy to hear kids whispering to others that they should watch out because Smerkle is watching! HAHA!!! Love it!! I also told one today that he better watch out because Smerkle is sitting front and center in front of him tomorrow – boy oh boy did that straighten him up!!
