Weekend Random!

I hope you all had a fabulous week! I only had 2 days of school this week. My poor little old school building is literally falling to pieces. We have been an “Excellent” school according to our Ohio test score for as long as I can remember, but there is nothing excellent about our poor old building. I mean people the sky was literally falling! And no, I didn’t read too many copies of Chicken Little. We had ceiling falling to the floor, water rushing through the lights and garbage cans catching leaks at every turn. It was a sad situation on Wednesday. My sweet principal just started this year and man was he put through his initiation. So as they try to fix the holes in our very old roof, I am enjoying an extra long weekend. I can’t say that I didn’t love being able to take my baby to Pre-K and shop for some new fall clothes. But despite the break, I have been working on a few things in preparation of a new week on Monday. So here is some randomness coming your way.

After we were sent home on Wednesday I came home to some packages! People…it was like Christmas morning when I saw these beauties show up on the same day.

First I opened this:

My new teacher tote! I love this utility tote from My ThirtyOne. It has pockets everywhere. And since the sky is falling and the rain hasn’t stopped in cloudy Cincy for forever I also had to get the matching umbrella! How fun! My pockets are already full of pens, markers, crayons and teacher tools! Click Here if you want one too!

Then I opened this and let me say I’m in love! Erin Condren Rocks and so does my sweet friend Cara who introduced me to this.

Speaking of Cara, she saved the day again with her centers from her Ready, Set, Learn pack. We were reviewing color and number words before the rain rudely interrupted, but my kiddos were having fun stamping out their color words and matching their numbers to number words.

I also uploaded a cute little farm math center to TpT, we’ll being doing next week. We are starting some addition practice, so they’ll practice sums 5-8 in this fun farm activity.
