Hey Friends,
So I hope you had a fantastic and filling Thanksgiving. I had a bazillion people over to my home. The problem with that, is I’m left with a messy house and way too much food. Which is why I feel sick from eating for 4 days straight. The only thing that has stopped my eating, is shopping. It’s the other thing I do best. I love a sale. Online or in the store, I’m there, ready and waiting. So I’m pretty excited to fill my cart for the TpT sale. You can click on the button below to check out my sale. I started it today so you can get items you need for the week printed tonight.
In addition, I’m very excited to have created new Reader’s Response/Graphic Organizers based on the Common Core, Reading Literature and Informational Text standards. Each page lists the core standard, so there is no guesswork. The new standards are much more rigorous and require deeper thinking and analysis of text. I think you’ll find these sheets to require your kiddos to really focus on the text.
I also have some fun seasonal items that you could always stock up on for the future!
Even if you don’t use these for morning work, they are great daily practice of common core standards both, language arts and math.
This is a great way to build vocabulary in an exciting way. I love good homophone hunt. If you don’t do Christmas in your class, here is a hot chocolate version.
I also have centers for both Christmas and Winter.
101 pages of Christmas fun!
115 pages of math and literacy centers.
This week we’ll begin our holiday express unit. We spend 3 weeks celebrating the ways different countries spend their holiday season. You can see my plans here.
I also suggest you check out Rachelle’s awesome units. I’ll be using some of her excellent ideas!
Have fun cyber shopping friends. I promise to be back with freebies soon! For now, here is a link to my gingerbread freebie from last year.
