So when looking through my posts I noticed that many of them were titled, “Sunday Smorgasbord”. This told me two things: 1. I write a lot of my posts on Sundays and 2. I’m more random that I ever thought. So I decided to start a new linky for the summer. And I would love for you to join if you are as unfocused in your posts a myself.
First I put these two pages back to back to laminate. Then I print them on regular old computer paper. I find that makes them more flexible and they don’t bend or get crinkled all year. My kiddos pull these out for absolutely everything! I made the original about 6 years ago, because I absolutely disliked the look of most of those name tags with this info. Plus…do your kiddos really keep their name tags nice and neat? So this was the perfect solution. All of these are common core. I did include money on the first grade and I know that it’s not in the Core, but I think your second grade teachers will appreciate your kids at least being able to recognize the coins when they are doing all sorts of money stuff in second.
In addition, here are some photos of it in real life…all laminated. I also made each PDF with a blank word wall that can be easily edited by clicking and typing in your words.

Besides, we’ve been so busy running around with baseball, amusement parks, swimming lessons and just plain fun. I really do love summer!
I hope you are having a great Sunday. And don’t forget to link up with Sunday Smorgasbord!
