It’s Sunday and it’s random! I just love it because this is the way my brain works. You can ask my friends. Also, setting up my classroom takes 12 times longer than it should because I go to get tape for a project on when end of the room and see something else that needs to be done, and start that project. It’s also why writing a blog post takes 5 hours. I look for a graphic, see a sale image for Target and all of the sudden I’m shopping! I’m all over the place. Tell me you can relate. So this post will be no different.

I’m so sad that summer is coming to a close. Before I know it, I’ll be back in the classroom. I really do love my first grade kiddos, but spending time with my boys is so precious.
We’ve been having so much fun.
My fishermen
We originally bought the Snoopy snow cone machine, but I forgot I still needed my hands to type and that thing about ripped them off. So we bought this guy instead. Thank you 50% off summer stuff at Target. YUM!
Zoo fun!
And who doesn’t love a little Christmas in July and a fun house?

I, of course have been spending a ton of money on my classroom, like always.
And I found these:
Not only are they scented but they are chisel tips!! Chisel tips are my all time favorite.
They make my anchor charts smile!
And hello Target Dollar Spot! Gotta love these.
I see guided reading word work made easy with these.

I’ve recently bundled my First Grade Morning Menus. These are a great way to start the day and not the same old worksheets. With the menu, you don’t have to worry about kids who enter school at different times, or about passing out worksheets each morning before your students enter. And if you already have a morning routine, they are also great to use for your “Fast Finishers”. I’ve included “Fast Finishers” covers and notebooks as well. You can click below to grab the whole year at a discounted price.
Also, due to many requests, I’m working on the second grade version as well. It should be complete in the next couple of days.

There is still time to help the DeWitt family. Your help means so much. I know Lt. Jon DeWitt is smiling down on all of the teachers that are helping to ease his families’ burden. To read more about the fundraiser or how to donate, click HERE. I’ll be ending the fundraiser on Wednesday. God Bless each and everyone of you who have helped so far.
Have a great Sunday friends.
