It’s all about leaves!

Hey friends!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Other than my hubby being sick (which equals total whining!) we had fun. I took my boys out for some fall fun.  And I got a little shopping in! I love me some boots and animal print! Doggone fashion on Pinterest is going to make me go broke! (PS. I was taking pictures in the store to get a second opinion.  Which should I buy? Let’s go with both.)

Speaking of fall. This week we are going to be learning about leaves.  We’ll learn about why the leaves change color and go outside and observe.  Below is a peek at my week. If you want my lesson plan template, this is the way to get it. Just click and you will download the powerpoint which is editable.

Two of our centers this week will cover sorting and graphing, as well as, decoding and sorting real and nonsense words.  You can click on the pictures to download those centers from TpT store.  The literacy is center is new and FREE!
Here is my little laminating Landon!
In the next week or so we’ll be starting our Halloween centers. You can click below to see more.
Have a great Monday friends!

  2. Your boys are adorable! and I'd go with the boots! I miss boots… You only get to wear them for like 2 weeks in S. Florida, one of the things I miss the most about New York. Check out my blog when you get the chance.

  3. I love that picture of all those tiny pumpkins! I kinda want to jump in the pile.

I think it's awesome that you can go outside and observe the leaves changing. Around here, they are pretty much green until December, when they suddenly fall and turn brown, lol.
