Have y’all been busy? Like out of control, don’t know how you are going to get it all done busy? Well I have. And I only have 7 days to get it all finished. Add to that, the fact that I can’t say no to anyone… and I start something and quickly find myself drifting to Facebook and Pinterest. This might end up in disaster. So, sorry for the lack of posts, ideas, etc. It’s been crazy with a capital C around my house and I’m just barely keeping my head above water.
Speaking of water… This is also where I’ve been spending some time. It’s been pretty darn hot here and the sprinkler is where we spend most of our afternoons.
My baby also graduated from Pre-K last week. I can’t believe he’s going to be in Kindergarten.
Here are the end of the year gifts for his teachers.
I’m currently working on my sweet kiddos 1st grade scrapbooks. I try to give each of my little people a book of memories from first grade. I usually Cricut a cute cover, but time is flying away from me, so I went digital this year. Here it is if you would like a copy for you sweet friends.
I’ll have them fill out a few pages to add to this book this week and then bind them with ribbon this weekend. In addition to this, we are also working on map skills. My sweet friend Amanda has an adorable unit that I’m using this week. Today we talked about directions and made these compasses.
We’ll also do some activities next week from my Picnic unit. I absolutely love Pigs Picnic. And this unit includes lots of fun activities to do with that book as well as fun centers and games.
This past week I also had a birthday.
I came home to this yummy cake from my sweet babies.
And because I’ve been absent and not given much away lately, I thought I’d do a little belated birthday giveaway. So…My little punctuation unit has received lots of kind comments and my kiddos love the punctuation people.
So I’m going to give 5 copies away to the first 5 people who can guess my age. Here’s a hint…The news just reported that my age is “the best year of your life” according to a recent study. Here’s to hoping they are correct.
OKAY FRIENDS!
SO….
I’m 33! I think I sent the first five people the unit. If you were in the first five and didn’t receive it, let me know your email.
