Hey everyone! I hope you all are enjoying sweet summertime! I just got back from the Teachers pay Teachers conference. To say it was a fun time would be an understatement. Not only did I get time with some of my very best friends in the world, I also got to meet some sweet blogging friends that I’ve only known through the computer. Plus I got to hug Paul Edelman, founder of TpT. That’s not all that shabby either. Here are a few pictures from Vegas.
Who doesn’t love a good elevator selfie? A picture of our dinner at Serendipity. The blogger meet-up and some of my closest friends with Paul. And yes….Deanna and I got to be next to Paul. #sorrynotsorry Rachelle Smith.
Speaking of my sweet friend Rachelle of What the Teacher Wants, did you know she lost 100 pounds? She is very much my motivation. And the thus, the reasons for our shirts. The front says, “Teachers and Barbells” and the back says THINK…WWRD? What Would Rachelle Do? We always ask ourselves that when making food choices and working out. She was so surprised. Love her to pieces.
And here are some of the sweetest girls I know. Don’t know what I’d do without them.
Vegas was so much fun and even more empowering. Besides, I’ve never felt so blessed to be surrounded by a better group of teachers. Teachers pay Teachers brought hundreds of teachers together to share, hug, and inspire. I wish I had more pictures friends, but I’m horrible at remembering to take pictures when all I really want to do is hug and talk.
On my way home I was able to finish up my latest project. I’ve had lots of friends ask for my Focus Wall. Furthermore, I love having a place to remind my students what we’re learning for the week and why we are learning it. It also helps me stay organized and focused. To be honest, I was just making cards as I went along and not saving them last year. NOT SMART! So I went ahead and created a product. Lastly, if you want a focus wall for your classroom, you can purchase it by clicking below.
Well, that’s all the random I have for now. If you have a random post, don’t forget to link up.
